Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of self-efficacy, locus of control, and social support on the work readiness of final-year university students across various higher education institutions in Indonesia. A total of 210 respondents were selected through purposive sampling. Data were collected online using a structured questionnaire and analyzed using a quantitative approach through Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) with SmartPLS 4. The results show that all three independent variables self-efficacy, locus of control, and social support positively and significantly influence work readiness. These findings suggest that confidence in one's abilities, belief in personal control over future outcomes, and emotional and social support from the surrounding environment are critical factors in preparing students for the workforce. The implications of this research encourage higher education institutions to enhance soft skills development programs, counseling services, and supportive academic environments to improve the overall work readiness of their graduates.
