Abstract

This study aims to analyze the literature discussing the state of education in Indonesia in relation to achieving the Education SDGs in the 21st century. The review includes discussions on the basic concepts of SDGs, 21st-century education, the interrelation between the two, the condition of education in Indonesia, the role of teachers in improving education quality, challenges faced, and government efforts to reform the education system. The main challenges in Indonesian education include disparities in access, inadequate infrastructure, and limited resources, especially in remote areas. This research employs a qualitative descriptive approach, collecting data from journals, previous studies, books, and other relevant sources. Data collection techniques involve reading, note-taking, analyzing, and presenting data qualitatively and contextually. The findings highlight the need for continuous education reform and cross-sector collaboration to strengthen the national education system.
